Cross Training

Mental Health America, in collaboration with the Cincinnati Police Academy, offers "cross-training" programs for mental health agencies and other social service agencies about law enforcement and building collaboration.

Upcoming Training:

The Cincinnati Police Academy is offering the next Citizen's Police Academy beginning September 8, 2010 and ending October 27, 2010.  MHA has partnered with the Academy to offering continuing education credits to professionals wishing to complete the program.  MHA will offer up to 24 clock hour credits for those attending the training, at a low cost of $35.00 (social work, nursing, counseling disciplines).  Potential attendees must apply with Cincinnati Police Academy and be accepted for the program.  Upon acceptance, attendees must register with MHA for the CEU portion of the program by calling Vicki Thatcher by phone, 513-721-2910 or email, vthatcher@mhaswoh.org
